NOTES:

We found in the past that when speakers are given an hour they usually allow questions for the last 15 minutes. This year we are allocating 45 minutes for each session and asking people who have questions to approach the speakers privately in the last 15 minutes of the hour, or at other times during the Symposium. This will allow others to have time to move to other rooms, have a break etc.

We are asking everyone to be seated by the designated starting time to allow the speakers to start promptly and have the full 45 minutes for their presentations.

Rooms will be confirmed after we survey attendees about which sessions they want to attend.

We have tried to keep the admission fee and hotel room charges for the Symposium low to allow as many people as possible to access this event. However in return for the use of the space and hotel facilities we have had to guarantee a food and drink spending of $55,000 which will come from the cash bar on Thursday evening (in the foyer), and the banquets on Friday and Saturday night. We would therefore be very grateful to our speakers for attending the Welcome on Thursday evening and promoting the banquets, and perhaps organising a group to attend a banquet together.

Please tell your friends that we have extended the Super Early Bird Registration fee of $175 (very low for a 4 day gathering in a top resort) until May 31st.

If you have not yet booked your hotel room, please do so before we run out of rooms at $129. https://secure3.hilton.com/en_US/dt/reservation/book.htm?execution=e1s1 Some of us will be arriving from lunch time on Wednesday 12th September as we have a full day planned for Thursday 13th September.
